Sensing and Perception Student Researcher @ Ericsson and MSc EECS Student @ KTH
My name is Marcos Gómez Bracamonte (aka Marcos Gómez-Bracamonte) and I am a MSc Systems, Control and Robotics student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Currently working at Ericsson Research, where I am conducting research on event-transformer architectures for real-time feature extraction and matching in computer vision localisation systems.
My current research focuses on interoperable real-time visual localisation based on geometry-only vision transformers for feature matching and pose estimation. This includes work on robot indoor and outdoor localisation, pose estimation, and scene recognition via feature matching with graph neural networks, scattered attention mechanisms and variational autoencoders.
Past Experience: Previously, I worked as a Research Intern at the Radar and Microwave Group of the Dept. of Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications (SSR) at UPM, focusing on ML-enhanced Radar Digital Signal Processing and Communication, particularly on detecting Parkinson's Disease through gait analysis with real-time radar sensing networks.
I received my bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering (spec. Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) with Honours, at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2022.
